Professional Background

With over 14 years in the oil and gas midstream industry, he brings a depth of leadership and operational excellence to his coaching. Currently serving as an Operations Excellence Manager, he drives continuous improvement, governance, learning and development, and change management initiatives across a complex organization. More recently, he spearheaded the digital transformation of key operational and safety workflows, impacting nearly 200 staff.

Previously, as a Maintenance Manager, he led a team of 11 staff and over 60 contractors, managing an annual asset integrity program with a budget close to SGD35 million. He also successfully turned around an outsourcing maintenance contract, realizing cost savings of nearly 15% on a SGD8 million annual contract.

His engineering days were marked by hands-on project leadership and problem-solving under pressure. He also served as Chairman of the company’s recreational club, for two years, fostering employee engagement through community and team-building events in a MNC setup.

Coaching Specialty

He naturally leans into areas where deep listening and presence can make a real difference. Friends, colleagues, and family naturally come to him in moments of uncertainty or emotional weight. Whether it’s workplace challenges, personal conflicts, or existential questions, he offers a safe, non-judgmental ear, and is known for asking real, insightful questions that help people think clearly and move forward with renewed strength.

He is especially drawn to conversations around:
– Life breakthroughs, life transitions and personal growth
– Self-confidence, emotional wellness and self-awareness
– Navigating workplace relationships and communication
– Career clarity and development

His quiet strength lies in being present, listening fully, and helping others rediscover the power they already have.

Personal Background

Raised in a humble working-class family in Singapore, he carries the belief that hard work, focus, and planning are the cornerstones of personal success. He lives by the power of compounding—whether in finances or fitness—and proves it through his daily push-up habit that’s slowly but surely strengthening his body.

He enjoys playing a bit of drums, is picking up golf (tough sports!), and shares his home with his wife and their beloved mixed-Pomeranian dog. A self-confessed “oldie,” he finds joy in the music of Andy Lau and Linkin Park—sometimes on the repeat mode.

Coaching Style

His coaching presence is genuine, warm, and empathetic, while also structured and challenging when it matters. Clients describe him as real, meticulous, intuitive, and deeply relatable. He creates a space of psychological safety and thoughtful exploration—where clients feel comfortable being themselves, while also being encouraged to reflect, uncover blind spots, and take purposeful action.

Personal Philosophy

He believes in the mantra: “What you focus on grows—choose wisely.” Grounded in authenticity and humility, he treats others as he wishes to be treated, and reminds himself and his clients that you can fool the world, but not yourself. To him, coaching is about facing your reality with courage—and then daring to grow from it.
