Our Testimonies

Hear what our students have to share about their experience.

The behavioral spectrum has been very helpful for me. I like how we can break down behavior to see where it is resulting from, and then use that to pinpoint where should we ‘perform the surgery’. This was even helpful for me to analyze my own behavior. It has also helped to unlock new perspectives on others’ behaviors.

Now in my coaching calls, I find myself to be listening out more on whether someone is demonstrating a certain behavior. I am learning to evoke the same awareness for this person so as to establish the readiness, willingness, and capabilities to perform the change. After that, I can use the behavioral spectrum to further pinpoint what is resulting in the behavior. This is a good change for me as in the past, I might be looking for this ’cause’ in all directions. But now, I feel like I can be more targeted.

Jason Ong

How this module has impacted me as a person was on a few areas. Firstly, I felt that getting clarity on the outcome that I wanted to see allowed me to have a better direction, as in I have a clearer idea of what to work on. Working through this module also made me appreciate myself more for the small wins, and not beat myself up because I have not achieved the big wins. I learnt to be more gentle on myself, and as long as there is a win, I celebrate myself for it.

As a coach, I learnt that it is really important to hold down on this part and ensure the coachee knows what outcome he or she wants to see, and how he or she is measuring it.

I have always loved Lin’s energy whenever she is training. I also love it when she illustrates the concepts with case studies or even giving her own example. This helps in allowing me to understand the content better. I also like the class size and the training space that we were in (Huone)

Sheryn Yeo

This module has given me an opportunity to reflect and identify an important growth opportunity for myself. I have learnt the process from setting up the objective, making the change to evaluating the outcome. This gives me the structure to build confidence with the well-thought roadmap to make the change. In the process, the coaching sessions also help me to identify the inherent and potential obstacles so that I can have more clarity on how to navigate towards successful outcomes.

As a coach, I am inspired by the grit, determination and resilience of the coachee to make the change. It tells me the importance of the mission will drive Willingness to build Readiness and develop capabilities.

Daphne Chen

The 6 steps to behaviour change, the workbook and the leading questions are great in helping the coach draw out important aspects of the client’s behaviour change project. It helps clarify, focus and even bring out blind spots client may have about their project.
