In our 20 years of coaching, we understand coaches encounter various challenges when working with clients, which can compromise the client-coach relationship and engagement success. The CCI training team has been coaching, mentoring and training coaches for 20 years. We have helped hundreds of coaches obtain their ACC, PCC and MCC ICF credentials. We don’t just teach – we coach as well, keeping our experiences up to date and our client cases fresh and relevant to our modules.

The ACD training team is the only faculty in the region that brings you 5 Master Certified Coaches, who have been coaching as early as 2004. Our MCCs are a dedicated faculty team who have been improving every single program we have run since 2016. It is our relentless commitment to quality coaching and a transformational training experience that has led us to be recognized as a leading coaching institute in Asia.

You get 20 years of only the stuff that has worked. We’ve made the mistakes, we’ve learnt the lessons, we’ve coached over 25,000 worth of hours and figured out the universal mechanics that drive successful change in Human Evolution.

Having trained close to 1000 coaches from around the world, we have discovered a tried and tested method of training high quality coaches from diverse backgrounds.

The best part is, coaches have used what we teach them to create faster, deeper, more lasting impact on their clients than before the training. We may be highly experienced coaches and trainers, but our success factor lies in the close relationships we have with our coaches that has allowed us to ascertain open feedback for continous evolution of our training programs.

You get to benefit from all these that have come before you, and we look forward to you carrying the torch of coaching high and bright for your clients and the profession.

Our Testimonies

Hear what our students have to share about their experience.

Beyond the basics in PCD, having a simple framework on directions, energies and leans has definitely helped me be more rounded as a coach. Personally, this module has given me another set of language to describe my own leans and further increased my awareness of how these leans impact the way I make sense of the world as well as my clients.

Kristie Chen

This module allows me to know how I can connect better with my client. With a deeper understanding of how the directional model works, I am more conscious of remembering to ask questions that can move my client forward, and sometimes side by side with my client. This helps in shaping the questions I ask. I love how the intensive class was conducted, especially the live demo where we worked with XJ and our classmate.

Sheryn Yeo

This module helped remind me to coach the person and not the issue. It also helped me to quickly profile a client to help me in my coaching approach. The directional approach gave me a sense of perspective on how I as the coach was approaching the client. It helps the client also realise that while at all points I was journeying with them, I could approach them from different angles to draw deeper reflections and understanding of themselves.I felt the course was interesting, engaging and impactful. I drew many learning points and am still applying the learning in the coaching. Thanks, Xing Jian and Teng Ning!

Lorraine Kwek

Personal front, I was able to better understand how I connect/relate/understand external environment and people. As a coach, I had another breakthrough to better connect and partner with coachee, able to get through “not knowing what to coach” and getting past coachee’s “I don’t know”.

Veronica Loh

I redefined my role as a coach. Instead of diagnosing, to being a curious sightseer collecting inputs to paint a map of the coachees self and explore together what this map means to him or her, how the coachee would like to have the map and how to get there.

Jochen

The 5 stages of evolution are most useful and probably easiest to remember cos of the way they were taught – more experiential. I gained additional tools to use but they can also get a bit overwhelming if I don’t mindfully keep my explosive thoughts in check. It’s a challenge not to swing to either extreme end – either give up totally on all the models/frames or drown in them. I like the experiential learning of the 5 Stages. Doing really helps with the solidifying of learning.

Kristie Chen

I am made more aware of the presence of the different stages of the evolutionary coaching. What I have found the most valuable is having learnt how I can possibly work with the clients when I identify beliefs or mindsets surfacing.

How it impacted me personally is the activity we did on the intensive day where I got the realisation that I am not trusting myself enough. I am learning to do that more nowadays.

I love the learnings that come about from the interactions between my classmates. I believe it is how the module is structured that allows for these kind of interactions and participation to take place.

I also love how my learnings are enhanced when integrated with the knowledge I gained from the person-centric module (especially the P.I.E. model) It allowed me to understand the client more, and see instances where the client may be too focused on a certain element, and that I will need to explore the other elements to make the coaching session more complete.

Sheryn Yeo

I really like all the emphasis and practice on identifying the unsaid, looking beyond the surface. I think this helps to elevate my coaching

Jason Ong

I like having trainers share their coach case in point and break it down on how they navigate the conversation per the evolutionary model.

Veronica Loh

I have learned that there is no need to rush through things with my client. Sometimes, what the client requires is just a space to sit with and digest new info, and as a coach, I have learnt to respect that. I must say that I have learnt more about the space I can be in when partnering my client.

Also, there is power in piecing together the data gathered, making a meaningful summary and mirroring back to the client. When presented correctly, the client can gain new insights.

I love how the trainer brings us through and dissects the coaching conversation and allows learning to happen through it. Another thing I appreciate about the trainer is her sense of calmness and the positivity she brings with her. Thank you Ting Nging 🙂

Sheryn Yeo

The models were really useful . Reminded to be aware of filters the client and as Coach that I may have.
Be persistent and ask succinct questions to collect the data points. There were many good examples shared. And the opportunity to reflect on how we have grown as a coach is a reminder to be intentional in evaluating how we have done.

Juniper Chua

Relationship coaching is dynamic and requires constant negotiation and renegotiation of space with the client. I’ve learned to accept even more fully the ability to get lost with the client (at least in the beginning) so that we find our way together out of the woods. Appreciation of deliberately diving into the flow of relationship coaching.

Kristie Chen

Experiencing being coached by Teng Nging on relationship issues, and learning what it means and the process to get to systems thinking instead of hovering around the issue. Beyond just the models and theories, I like how Teng Nging was clear in how to apply Module 3, and what it is not about.
