Professional Background

Tien Hock is a seasoned executive with a distinguished career spanning leadership roles in both the public, private and people sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of E-Bridge Pre-School Pte Ltd, he leads over 1,600 staff to delivering high-quality early childhood education to pre-school children.

His previous roles include CEO positions at SBS Transit Ltd and ComfortDelGro Driving Centre, where he led large-scale transformations with more than 7,000 staff and 3,000 buses, operational enhancements of high tempo requirements, and strategic growth initiatives for legacy organisations. In his concurrent appointment as CEO ComfortDelGro MedCare, he led a corporate start-up to venture into greenfields of wheelchair transportation to become the lead provider of such a service in the care-giving ecosystem. He was also a senior HR leader who led the transformation of the organisational culture and strengthened the talent pipeline.

Tien Hock also held senior appointments in the Ministry of Defence and the Singapore Armed Forces, where he was deeply involved in operations, training, and human resource development.

He is also a Senior Accredited Director with the Singapore Institute of Directors. He holds a M.Eng from University College London and a MBA from Nanyang Fellows-MIT Programme.
