Professional Background

Francesca has always been passionate about people and their stories. With the desire to help others flourish, Francesca was attracted to a career in higher education. She has now accumulated a decade of experience, firstly as researcher and instructor, and recently progressing to the roles of Senior Lecturer and Assistant Dean of students at Yale-NUS College.
In her professional journey, Francesca has mentored students and team members, benefiting from a dynamic international and multi-ethnic environment. This exposure has enhanced her ability to connect with individuals from various backgrounds and fostered a broad, open-minded perspective. Her natural ability to create a safe and non-judgemental space in which everyone can feel comfortable to share has been recognized as one of the strongest marks in her work as Assistant Dean, along with her active listening skills and genuine care.
The experience gathered from her job, has fuelled her passion for supporting individuals in reaching their full potential, which led her to pursue coaching. Starting from her blend of empathy and problem-solving skills and her commitment to a people-cantered approach, Francesca sees in coaching a unique opportunity to enhance her abilities to empower others to thrive.

Personal Background

Born in the sunny Naples, south of Italy, Francesca embodies the vibrant and joyful spirit of her hometown. She believes that starting each day with a smile and a positive attitude can transform one’s perspective and mindset.
A pivotal moment in Francesca’s life was her year abroad in Spain during university, where she discovered her genuine curiosity about people’s stories and deep enthusiasm for helping others.
Francesca’s approach to life and her core values were shaped by her experiences as a semi-professional volleyball player from a young age. Through sport, she learned the importance of hard work, perseverance, humility, courage, embracing challenges and maintaining a strong sense of integrity. She is driven by the belief that personal growth is closely linked to helping others succeed.
She has been residing and working in Singapore for the past seven years, engaging with a diverse, multicultural community both professionally and personally.
Passionate about food, Francesca is renowned for her exceptional pizza-making skills. As a devoted working mother of a young child, she and her Cuban husband are raising their daughter to be multilingual, with exposure to Italian, Spanish, English and Chinese. They eagerly await their child’s first spoken words in one of these languages.
