Professional background

For 15 years Nicola worked in Executive Search, based in Tokyo and Hong Kong. She has helped transform organisations by recruiting key players across a number of functions including Country Manager, Head of Sales, HR Director and Legal Counsel. She enjoyed getting to know her candidates, to gain a greater understanding of their career aspirations and personal goals. It was this aspect of her job that led her to Coaching.

She is a natural listener who loves to draw the best out of people. Prior to the world of executive search, she worked for a leading global management consultancy. Here she focused on Organisation Change and Training & Development for clients within the Financial Services and Government Sector. Nicola also runs an award winning family travel blog. She has written for many publications including The Lonely Planet and Expat Living.

Life & Career Coaching

Personal Background

Nicola is originally from London but have lived in Asia for the past 15 years. She is incredibly lucky to have called Tokyo, Hong Kong and Singapore her home. Her greatest passions in life are people, travel and food. Nicola have two young daughters and it is her love of travel that led  to set up Jetlag & Mayhem, a family travel website.

She wanted to provide a platform to help inspire and encourage new parents to get out there and see the world. No matter how daunting the prospect with young children in tow! She’s a firm believer that travel is the best education. She also love meeting people and hearing their stories. It is this that led her to a path as a Coach and currently working towards her ICF and Master NLP Certifications. Outside of her working life, she volunteer with KidsREAD, where we help promote a love of reading amongst children from Singapore’s low-income families.

Coaching style

Nicola’s style is thoughtful and nurturing. She want to provide a safe space where you can move forward in your journey, be it personal or professional.
