Professional background


Alan was formerly Executive Vice President of INC Research and led the Global Medical Devices and Diagnostics Business Unit. He was also Head of Asia Pacific responsible for >2000 staff. Alan has been in the Life Sciences industry for 25 years including with Quintiles and Becton Dickinson holding senior leadership positions. He has served in General Management, Strategy, Sales and Marketing, Supply Chain Management and Information Technology.

Alan was included in the 2015 Global Top 100 by Pharma Voice, a leading publication for Life Sciences for his role as a Change Agent. He has also been honored by Frost & Sullivan for leading his business as the best in Asia and has had a highly successful career building and growing businesses while gaining a reputation as a people magnet.

As a senior leader Alan has coached and mentored numerous individuals throughout his career. As a professional coach, he started as a coach back in 2000 and has also taken on international consultancy projects recently.

Personal Background


Alan is a frequent speaker and is a Distinguished Toastmaster with Toastmasters International and has served as President, Area Governor and Division Governor. Alan also currentlly serves as a strategy advisor to Circle of Friends, a local charity helping disadvantaged youth in Singapore.

Since becoming a coach, Alan has been working on his fitness. Another little known fact is Alan used to be a chess player in his school days, winning the schools championship and placing in the top 20 in the national championships.

Alan is sincere, caring and generous with sharing. He has a strong passion to coach. His style is tactful yet will not whitewash feedback but strive to do so positively.
