Goh is an accomplished Executive HR Talent Leader, with over 25 years’ experience leading high-performance teams across Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ) , Europe Middle East Africa (EMEA) regions and globally as a key member of the Global Talent Leadership Teams for several US Tech. Firms ranging from VC Series Funded startups to hypergrowth multimillion dollar through to the mature and established multibillion dollar, 70,000+ Employee NASDAQ listed company. His Primary goal of identifying, attracting, retaining, and further developing their unfair share of diverse, future proof, transformational top talent, and ultimately fueling the growth of these companies to overachieve their corporate goals, creating further value to their shareholders Year on Year.
A key focus for Goh over the years has been to partner with these companies to effectively scale their organizations across new markets/regions at pace, whilst incorporating local policies/practices and cultural norms etc. to truly become a successful Global organization. Talent Acquisition played a critical role in this transformation where he was tasked to build this function from the ground up at each company. As a result, he has been successful in partnering with the business and effectively managing stakeholders on matters not limited to Workforce Planning/Optimization, Talent/Location Strategy, Succession Planning, Talent Assessment, Employer Branding and Employee Engagement.
Goh has also been successful in leading teams to achieve several internal and external awards not limited to No.1 Great Place To Work (GPTW) China, 2 years back-to-back in addition to being invited as a Keynote speaker at the same event in Shanghai on the topic of Diversity & Inclusion, recipient of multiple HR Excellence Asia Awards in Singapore within categories such as Talent Acquisition, Diversity & Inclusion Strategy, Candidate assessment.
In addition to Coaching and mentoring current and future leaders at these Companies, Goh continues to Mentor several professionals globally across various functions from Sales, Sales Management, Talent Acquisition & G&A.
Goh was Born in Osaka, Japan, but grew up in Sydney, Australia playing rugby & surfing and where his working career began. Over 16 years ago he was then fortunate enough to transfer to Singapore with his family with his employer to help grow their regional Asia Pacific Headquarters. Rugby continues to be part of his life, but these days more as a spectator on the sidelines (15 years too late according to his wife) though he continues to be active as a student of Brazilian Jujitsu to balance out his love of good food and wine.
As a Father of 2 in their late teens, and a Dog Dad to an Aussie Spoodle, he can often be seen traversing the Island, ferrying them to multiple sporting, social, academic events as an unpaid Grab/Uber driver but sadly never receives 5 Star ratings for ANY journey
