Gerard also studies areas that are close to his heart – agile organization, future of work, artificial intelligence, data analytics, future of leadership, design, and innovation, business strategies, workplace culture transformation. His interest in people and organization development began when he was in his first leadership role as a people manager in the mid-90s. He had the chance to reflect on what he likes best about working with people and organizations. It was the focus in helping individuals and leaders to explore unknowns, uncover what they are comfortable bringing out in themselves, and never a day less enjoying seeing them growing to make a difference in their organization, teams, and society.
My personal philosophy and coaching approach is to unlock a person’s potential to maximize their own performance. It is about helping them to learn rather than teaching them. For me, coaching is not only about inspiring but also supporting and encouraging others to get the results they want to achieve.
