Professional Background

After graduating with my Bachelor of Education in 2007 I have been teaching in various settings in Ireland, Malaysia and currently in Singapore. As well as being an experienced elementary classroom teacher I am also a Head of Grade for my year group, leading and managing my team of teachers and teaching assistants. I am passionate about teacher and workplace well-being. The focus of my thesis for my Masters in Work and Organisational Psychology was well-being, emotions, engagement and stress management in the workplace. I have successfully applied the knowledge I attained while studying to design and implement an employee well-being program at my workplace. I have also acted as a mentor for and delivered professional development training for my colleagues.
