Professional Background

I have forged a 16-year career in a multinational oil & gas company, of which 10 years were spent in various managerial capacities. Through my work experiences based in Singapore and Bangkok, I’ve led teams across various cultures and geographies to successfully deliver on complex, global, transformational projects. Looking back, I realised that the true power behind these successes was the human connection, and the approach which I’ve experienced to be the most potent, is through coaching.

Inspired to ‘pass it on’, I have utilised coaching and facilitated workshops to build trusting relationships with my team members and colleagues, to help them find clarity in their career / work goals, and to tap on emotional awareness at the workplace to unlock greater human connection and collaboration. Now I am seeking to refine this skill through formal training and eventually, accreditation by the International Coaching Federation.

Wondering what steps to take next in furthering your career? Wrestling with decisions to stay on the beaten path or adventure off-track for greater possibilities? Thoughts of ‘I’m not good enough’, stopping you from embarking on a new challenge? Struggling with a boss who seems unpredictable and shifting the goalpost all the time?

You are not alone – I’ve wrestled with these questions and worked through the mess, and I would be honoured to help you find clarity, reframe for a positive mindset and uncover your confidence, and cheer you on in overcoming your challenges.

Personal Background

Growing up I’ve had to mature quickly due to personal tragedy, and incubated a unique capacity for empathy and innate strength for pulling out of adversity. Colleagues and friends have often come to me to bounce off their concerns and problems, and I especially enjoy having deep, meaningful conversations with them. I support them with questions and insights to help reflect on their situation and connect the dots. Seeing them identify actionable steps and change their life for the better gives me a great boost of energy and significance.

On a transformative journey of my own, I am currently working to pivot the ‘second half of my life’ to work which unlocks human connection and unleashes the human potential. Time is precious, and now I would like to invest it in work which energises me the most and maximises positive impact to others.
