Personal Background
A victim of bullying while he was growing up, Sofian won a public speaking competition when he was 17.
He started selling lollipops door-to-door and in public at 18 years old.
He is a father of 2 children and has lived in Malaysia, commuting to and from Singapore for 12 years.
He started volunteering in a company which organised mental health/social issues conferences that gave him access to serve and learn from international scholars and speakers at 22.
These scholars were from US, UK, Senegal, South Africa and Malaysia.
He firmly believes in the power of volunteering & service to develop maturity & capability in people.
He is passionate about making a positive contribution to humanity.
