Zhenli graduated from the National University of Singapore with a major in Psychology and has a Master’s degree in Applied Finance from the Singapore Management University. She started her career as a HR practitioner before transitioning into the research field.
Upon graduation from her Master’s course, Zhenli worked as an industry research analyst specializing in the Singapore market. Opportunity knocked on her door in 2017 to marry her HR practitioner experience with her love for research. Since then, she has been a researcher in Gartner’s HR practice and is currently aligned to the Future of Work team. Her recent research interest is in strategic workforce planning and is happy to speak with like-minded individuals on this topic.
Zhenli is a strong advocate for holistic well-being – physically, mentally, emotionally and financially. She has been practising yoga for more than five years and still loves every minute she spends on the mat.
The last trip she made before the pandemic was to Japan, her favourite country. While leisure travel is still not likely to resume anytime soon, she plans to revisit Koyasan someday.
