Professional background

With more 20 years in Banking, I offer a unique front to end perspective in the treasury business. I have in-depth understanding in the asset liability management specialising in funding, trading and risk management. I have 13 years of trading management and treasury product experience across developed and emerging markets. In addition, I have 3 years of risk management experience specialising in liquidity management and funds transfer pricing.

In my more recent role driving the CFO’s transformation agenda, I have gained experience both in business transformation and change management. This has given me valuable skills in change management and people development. My experience across developed (UK) and developing countries (Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam) and my keen interest in other cultures and languages has given me the confidence in communicating and managing across different nationalities and cultures.

Personal Background

Whilst work is important, I believe what ultimately defines me, are my family and service.
I am married with 3 kids and I look forward to spending time with them from outings to the movies or parks to simple family BBQs.

For service, I enjoy being a video and sound production volunteer for my church services. Helping deliver a great experience for the congregation during weekend gives me great satisfaction. For me time, I enjoy sailing, be it racing in regattas or just a leisurely sail, being out at sea helps me relax and clears my mind.

Personal philosophy

The following saying pretty much sums up my philosophy;

“Life’s too short to wake up with regrets
So love the people who treat you right,
forgive the ones who don’t.
Believe that everything happens for a reason.
If you get a chance, take it.
If it changes your life, let it.
Nobody said it will be easy,
They just promise it will be worth it!”
