Professional background


As a Regional Finance Shared Services Manager, Daphne is a dynamic professional with more than 20 years spent working in diverse cultures and the fast-changing corporate environment. Daphne has gained extensive working experiences in corporate finance, finance shared services set up, team merger, people management, and process continuous improvement.

In addition to being recognised as a professional with good technical and functional knowledge, Daphne has also been touted as a people manager. She has more than 15 years in managerial roles. At one stage, she led a team of more than 80 people. As a people manager, Daphne has keen interests in the well being, performance and development of her team members. As such, she is able to unlock the potential of the employees, to motivate the team and to optimise team performances that drives positive results in ambiguous and highly challenging circumstances.

Having come from a big family with many siblings, Daphne has learnt from young, to share, to collaborate and to be selfless. These abilities have enabled her to build positive relationships with others: friends, colleagues, teammates and acquaintances.

Being compassionate, Daphne has a passion to work on the welfare of the needy – specifically, to work on and to make positive impacts on the wellness of the ageing population.
