• Xunmao graduated from National University of Singapore with a Bachelors in Computing. He started out his career as a Software Engineer, developing / writing codes for GeoSpatial applications and war-gaming simulation systems. His interest in Software Engineering led him to complete a Masters of Technology from NUS, specialising in Software Engineering. He aspires to be a Chief Information Officer, leading digital transformation of business models with use of digital technology.
• Over the past decade he has worked on numerous roles, from a Software Engineer, Technical Manager, Project Manager and now he heads a Strategic Planning Team that drives Digitalisation for the Public Sector.

Xunmao enjoys history, especially those that covers Empires and Dynasties, he finds history fascinating as it contains many important lessons; small and large that are useful in day to day life.

A family oriented person, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. He likes to go on road-trips (prior to covid) overseas that will allow him to bring the family along to unwind, visit beautiful sites and enjoy great food.
