Professional background

Throughout my working life, I have brought my passion – to be an effective people developer – into every role I took on, whether I’m managing a team of 5 or more than 100.

During my career with AstraZeneca spanning 27 years, I have lived and worked in Singapore (1990-2009), Japan (2010-2012), and China (2012-2017). As a female executive in Japan I have learnt to break the proverbial glass ceiling whilst gaining respect from colleagues through excellence in delivery of programmes and projects with quality, speed, and within budget.

I have broad experience working in different roles, namely Statistics, Data Management, Project Management, Clinical Operations, Business Strategy, Quality Assurance. Since 2008, I have been a member of various senior leadership teams focusing on building high performing individuals and teams that deliver value to stakeholders and the business.
