Professional Background

  • HR Professional with extensive experience in different corporate environments, having worked in US & UK MNCs such as General Electric, Cisco Systems and BP and currently working in an Asian company, AIA.
  • Have a deep appreciation of what is required to work at country, regional and global levels and the transition points as one progresses in their career.
  • Have led Asia Pacific Regional HR teams and was also the HR Business Partner for the Global Functions that were based in Singapore, the latter primarily for BHP.
  • Am comfortable with diverse cultures, having managed a multi-cultural team HR directly.
  • As a female leader and a minority in some of the MNCs, I do understand what it takes for Women in Leadership and the need to move out of one’s comfort zones to truly develop and grow. With the speed of change, the last number of years have been spent on helping the organisations I am in, manage enterprise-wide transformations and organisational culture.

Specialty & Expertise

  • Career and professional life coaching

Personal Background

The choices to be made as one navigates career and personal/family life is no stranger to me. Am a mother of a young adult (who has now returned home but may be going off again) and as such I understand an empty nest and managing a household in transition. I enjoy travelling, love museums, reading, keeping fit to manage stress and achieving my own version of mindfulness through colouring.

Coaching Style

  • Receptive & open-minded
  • Solution-focused
  • Respectful & supportive
  • Pragmatic

Personal Philosophy

As I had the privilege of some great mentors & coaches in my career, I believe in paying it forward and aspire to help others in their own career and professional life journeys. There are times we sometimes can’t have it all and choices need to be made at certain inflections in our lives. I hope to be able to partner people to uncover possibilities for themselves.
