KK had close to 10 years of experience in the banking industry before taking the big step in joining the teaching force in 2015 to satiate his innate passion for educating and inspiring youths. Since becoming a lecturer, KK had not only taught young adults in areas of banking and finance, but had also interacted and inspired them on a very personal level through leadership and career coaching.
Prior to his banking career, KK had worked in Italy, China and Hong Kong and interacted with individuals of different nationalities and cultures. KK is an alumni of a Global Village Program in Lehigh University, USA where he represented Singapore and had gained invaluable personal insights through interacting with the global community consisting of more than 80 individuals from more than 40 nationalities. The multi-national and multicultural experience was what had shaped KK to be the open-minded and people-oriented person that he is today.
Under KK’s tutelage, clients had gained confidence and aced interviews to gain career starts at top banks, win key academic awards and participate in prestigious tertiary programs. In many cases, KK has an instinctive ability to deep-dive and explore issues that work directly with mindsets and core beliefs. This have helped clients with their self-discovery process to create lasting change and a deep impact in their lives. KK’s adaptability to the client’s social style had also earned him a reputation of a relatable and friendly coach.
KK holds a Masters of Science in Financial Engineering from the National University of Singapore.
